Azhar Saleem is a retired Colonel of the Pakistan Army. Holds BSc (Hons) Degree and is also a graduate from the Pakistan Army’s premier institution; The Command and Staff College Quetta. During his 25 years of service in the Army he held important command, staff and instructional appointments including that of being a Term Commander in the Pakistan Military Academy. After seeking retirement from the Army, he served in the corporate sector for over six years and is now working in the development sector as a Chief Executive Officer of Human Development Foundation for the last over 13 years. During performance of his duties in various capacities of his professional life as well as private commitments he has traveled to over 15 countries of the world where he attended international conventions, seminars and meetings and also got the chance to study various systems of management and development, adding value to his professional acumen. He is also a recipient of a few awards and prizes for meritorious services and works in various fields.
