Freya Spielberg, 21st C Life (Preventative Infectious Disease Program)

Freya is a family medicine physician who enjoys spending time with her patients to help them develop well-informed personal plans to achieve their best health. She received her MD from Cornell University Medical College, and her MPH at the University of Washington through a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars fellowship. In addition to her clinical activities, as Senior Health Scientist at RTI International, she studies the use of new testing and health information technologies in community clinic and health outreach programs to prevent, diagnose, and treat high-priority diseases in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to moving to the San Francisco Bay Area she was a professor at the University of Washington for nine years teaching family medicine to medical students and residents and conducting research in new ways to improve clinical care.
